Wow amazing.
I know I’m a little late… (2 days to be exact) but… this scene made me laugh… I am a monster D:
Bob Scott’s “Court Musician”. It is a Garfield short (sort of), but good lordy do I love the animation in it!
Along with this short there was Diana’s Piano and Lab Animal 19-GB — both directed by Doug Frankel — which stand out as the best shows in the 9 Lives TV special. I think those two were a writing team, ‘cause they worked on all 3 shorts together, and went on to have similar jobs at Pixar.
Anyway, check out those shorts. It’s the most enjoyment you will ever get out of something Garfield-related. And they’re pretty darn loosely-related, honestly. Although Jim Davis did write the Lab Animal short.
